I can not open windows files in /mn/windows
The mount point that's mandrake, by default, creates of the windows partitions don't work (don't show de windows files) on my system. So I create a new mount poin in fstab, as I do in redhat:
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows defaults 0 0
But when I open the /mnt/windows, I show the files with foods icons (I work in Gnome), and when a try a double click de system says thatś invalid this action and that's I needI make an association for open de file (in graphical way).
But if I work in console I can open the /mnt/windows files
Can you help me?
I use Mandrake 10 and gnome.

You left out the filesystem type for your windows partition. Using the 'diskdrake' program to set up the mount point should get the filesystem and encoding options correct for your system.
You haven't mentioned which files you want to open by clicking on them. If you go to the KDE setup, or the file browser setup, you can define which applications are used to open which file types. Look under the section for 'mime' types.
