I am prompted to enter Mandriva DVD when installing new software
Hi,
when I try to add new software through (Install & Remove Software) every time I am prompted to put the DVD to complete the installation I am using PWP spring.

You may still have the dvd listed in your repos section. Try going in the "Configure Your Computer, Software Management & Configure Media Sources' to see if the dvd disc is listed and remove it.
In addition to what FredGSanford said (post #2) above, if you find that the all your media sources point to the DVD, go ahead and remove them all, then click the ADD button (right). In the pop-up dialog, choose the Full Set of Sources Option, then follow the prompts.
