Okay im a huge newb and need help..

Hey im trying to install mandrake 10.0 I used Linuxiso.org's download, I went into winrar and unrar'ed it and then put it on a cd. I done the same for the other two cd's

Then when I trying restarting I need a boot disk so i made one from the cd that i made. Then when i got Linux to pop up it said hit enter so i did, then it came to a screen that said "This cd is not a mandrak install disc" or something, then I said I didn't want to try another disc and it went to a screen that said "This is not a drivers floppy, retry with drivers floppy?" Well i dont have one so i say no and it goes to another screen that has abunch of things like floppy.ko and cdrom.ko ect... and thats where i get stuck....



If you understood the above can you please help

The files you are downloading are ISO files. To burn them to CD to you need to burn a CD image of the files as is.. I used K3B in Suse Linux and Nero under Windows, feel free to PM or e-mail me if you need so more guidance. Help can be a pain on the Net.

Mandrake .iso files should not be .rar!

Can you give us some more info on your hardware setup. Do you have a bootable CD? what other OS or partitions have you tried to setup if any?
