Howto assign multiple ip addresses to eth0 in Mandrake 10????

Hello:

I have just installed MD 10 community. I want to set up several virtual IP based hosts using 1 NIC. How do I assign multiple IP addresses to 1 NIC card? I know in RH9 it was fairly easy, but I haven't figured out how to do it under Mandrake.

when you do you ifconfig for the eth0, you'll want to do somethin glike eth0:1, eth0:2 etc.

That's called IP ALIAS:
ifconfig eth0:1 192.168.0.5 netmask blah blah blah.

Also read about iproute2. Check /usr/share/doc/iproute2

Hello:

Thanks to both of you for your answers. I installed webmin and was able to assign the needed IPs through it. I have a block of ip addresses from my IP and I was trying to set up several IP based ecommerce sites so that I could use SSL. I think that I have a handle on how to do it now.
