As opposed to some distros where you can get
a mini iso (minimal) or just a CD geared at FTP install, I am not sure there is such a cd left for mandriva nowadays. It is all integrated on the "normal" CD boot options. However look at the errata there is a fixed iso (minimal I guess)
I think with the minimal CD (see quote at the end), or just the normal first cd out of 3 or 4 choose
"alt0" then network install should work.
Whatever the option, I am pretty sure it is there at the graphical boot prompt
