how to install abc with python

I was installing azureus on a amd 64 computer
and I think some thing went wrong when it
was setting up, and rather than figure out how to
uninstall it I thought I would just download
yet ABC.

The question is how to install and run the program
I dont know anything about python. I checked and python
is installed on my computer.

so I tried

$ python abc.py

and it did something but I

got an error

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "abc.py", line 967, in ?
run([""], abcpath)
File "abc.py", line 959, in run
app = ABCApp(0, params, single_instance_checker, abcpath)

if (sys.platform == 'win32'):
NameError: global name 'sys' is not defined
$

"sys is not defined." that sounds easy enough to fix
and how to run the program ifter its installed?

Its still in beta version so i didn't download it, i instead used wine to run it... just download the win32.exe then wine <filename> then wine abc.exe and install!

Have you setup your repos at http://easyurpmi.zarb.org? Make sure to select x86_64 in the first step.
