How to edit configuration
 

How to i edit the xconf or the xorg.conf in text mode ?

Dont know how to start editor. Please help...... still cant get X to start :(

run

xorgconfig or xorgsetup to setup xorg.conf withlut the editor.

also you can do the same by using any editor like the vi editor

quick shortcuts

vi <filename>

INSERT : to edit the file

:q to quit

:wq save and quit

:q quit without saving
