how to check Nvidia is set up right?

I have a Nividia GeForce 5200 FX, running MDK 9.2. How can I make sure all the cards features are running, such as the 3d acceleration, etc....

Open a console and run:

$ glxgears

A small window will pop up with spinning gears. Let it run for a while and the fps will print out in the console. If 3d is enabled that card should do over 1000 fps. Glxgears is a standard 3d benchmark tool in linux.

glxgears reports in the upper 1000's fps so that's good. Another question: Is there a faq or document that tells all the settings this card spports and how to configure them? Is there a command I can run to see how it is configured?

TIA

Check the README in /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/

You could also do: cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status

I have a Nvidia TNT2 and I got
375 frames in 5.0 seconds = 75.000 FPS
Is that good for this card?

[root@localhost xpedition]# cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status
Status: Enabled
Driver: AGPGART
AGP Rate: 4x
Fast Writes: Disabled
SBA: Disabled
BTW, when I minimize and then maximize again, the windows dont maximize completely. Has this happened to any of you?
