HOW to change the default charset???

I cannot see the file names in chinese when i mount the partition with iocharset=utf8, but this charset works well under my Ubuntu. I think this is because i have utf8 as my default charset in ubuntu. so under Mandriva, how can i change the default charset of system???

Recompile your kernel.
Have you read "man mount". It has MANY info about mounting, "iocharset", etc.
