How to change default RPM install directory?
I'm trying to change the default RPM install directory in the package manager from /usr to somewhere in my home directory. I can use text based RPM install to do individual packages, but i'd like to be able to change it in media manager so that dependant rpms will install as well. Any suggestions?

I don't understand what you mean by "default install directory". RPM's are split up into various directories when installed.
If you want to have dependencies installed automatically, use urpmi to install RPM's. Go to Easy Urpmi page to set it up To use it, type as root "urpmi <rpm name>". If you have everything set up right, urpmi will install the rpm and any required dependencies |
