can u just tell me what happens if i build a source with this command.
difference between :
./configure
and
./configure --prefix=/usr
??? Cause i managed to install glib,pango ,atk and gtk like this but i can not see them in my computer. when i make a searc in my remove software i see the old ones still...

Yes, you need to be far more specific.
What do you mean "nothing comes out".
Does water fail to ooze out of your computer? Does the cat not go outside? What?
If you've set up your urpmi source correctly you should have a truely massive list of additional applications which you can install on your system.
All of which are ready to go, and specifically configured to work with Mandrake.
If you then "SEARCH" this list you'll find several mouse programs which permit you to change the themes.

ok when i start rpm drake like you said i have a massive list of programs but still cant find mouse. in my media manager i have contrib main updates and etc.. so i guess that means i am also checking rpm from internet right?

Heh... Ok, now you are making progress.
No you will not find anything called "mouse".
I instead said to "search" for the term mouse in the descriptions.
As you'll see, you can select to "search" for available software either using the package names or text found in the descriptions.
Turn on searching the descriptions, and maximum or extended information, then perform a search for mouse or themes.
I do not remember the exact name of the package(s) since I'm no longer running 10.0 but there were at least two seperate programs (one was a gnome package which you can run under kde) which permit viewing and installing differing mouse cursor themes.
