Hello,
So are you trying to make boot disks? If so, what I do is I copy rawrite.exe to my desktop. Then I find the image file I need. I also copy that to my my desktop (you may need more than one image/boot disk, check the readme's on a mandrake mirror). Then I open rawrite and it asks where the file you want to write is and where the target disk is. Just follow the instructions and make sure you correctly piont to where the image file is on your desktop. Before all this, I recommend you format the disks you plan to use. A full format, not a quick one. But, be sure there is nothing on those disks you want. Keep in mind that these are windows instuctions. I got the impression that your trying to make these disks under windows. Also, everything I mentioned here (rawrite, disk images, the readme files, etc.) can be found by going to the mandrake site and following the "download" links until you pick a mirror that is in your area. Automatticaly, when you click a mirror it will take you to where the iso's are. So to get where everything is, click "up to a higher directory", then go into the 9.2 folder, then the i586 folder and everything you need is there. If there is anything I left out that you need or something you don't understand, than post it as I will be checking periodically. I'm a noobie too, but I have made the boot disks many times, so hopefully I have helped you
. Good luck!!
Ps. Be sure to read the Install.txt and all the readme files cause they tell you what each bootdisk does and you'll be able to know which ones you need.
