how do you install kde 3.3 on mandrake 10.1

I upgrade my 10.0 installation to 10.1 withou any problem. I would like to use kde 3.3 but the version that was installed after the upgrade was kde 3.2.3. CD 4 has what appears tto be, the whole kde 3.3 installation. How can I upgrade kde?

you can go to kde.org and go and download the Konstruct tool, it will automaticly build kde3.3 for you

I used the construct tool and it installed correctly. However, i can't find how to start kde 3.3. If i type
Code:
startx
it automattically starts kde 3.2.3. If i type
Code:
startx kde
it starts iceWM

Some help would be appreciated.

Kind regards, Carlito

konstruct by default installs kde in your home directory, you will need to rename /opt/kde to something like /opt/kde-3.2 and make a link from /home/user/kde3.3 to /opt/kde: ln -s /home/user/kde3.3 /opt/kde THEN type startx

Finally....

...I manage to upgrade to version 3.3 of KDE. I copied the contents of the kde folder in disc 4 and was able to create a urpmi repository. After selected update y was then aable to select the 3.3 rpm's for kde.

Everything installed fine and if I go to the kde control center it says that I have version 3.3 running. also I ran into some problmes after the upgrade in which the leyboard was not recognized. Switching to the mdkkdm help solve those problems.

Questions: is there a way to change the kde version that is displayed when you click on the "star" menu in the taskbar? mine still says KDE 3.2 Download
