how do I make MDK into a server?
 

Where are the tools/features to setup MDK as a network server? Primarily for setting up logins (file server). Can this be done w/ the free download or does this feature require a purchased version? If it can, is there a graphical way to do this, or only text editing?

first u need to setup urpmi , go to this site to help u set it up

easyurpmi.zarb.org/

( this will let the package manager points to online repositories )

then in the package manager -> install software , select the package you want e.g: apache , ftp , .......

there is a graphical way to setup any server

Following up on the above post...

then

urpmi wizard webmin

and install everything listed.

This will add a slew of (missing) wizards to the MCC, and make available a nice web based control center at http://localhost:10000
