how do I install kde3.3 off mdk 10.1 powerpack?

I've tried this several times, only to find that kde is totally corupted or my keyboard won't work in a new login screen.

The files are there, for installation, but there is no hdlist.cz or synthesis.hdlist.cz.

So rpmdrake can't assimilate the files into the update or installation selection process.

urpmi hasn't got kde3.3 yet(afaik, if you know of the web address, please post it) and if I try to install the packages one by one it ends in a dependency mess.

Can anyone help me out here?

here's what you do:

Go to your powerpack CD with KDE 3.3

make a directory and copy those KDE 3.3 files into that directory

then after updating your media sources with the EASY URPMI thing, go into that directory and type this as root:

urpmi *.rpm

BAM! that's it. But behold because there are reported problems with KDE 3.3. in Mandrake
