How do I dual boot win98 & 10.1?

I used to have 10.1 in slave hd and win98 in master.
But because master hd is broken.
I made small small free space(partition) in the front of 10.1 / partition.
But I can not install windowz the same way I used to do.

Because of the limitations of the windows installer, and the windows boot block; You'll prolly have to erase your drive, install windows, then reinstall linux.
Backup anything in /home first.

Not only does windows want the first partion on the drive physically, it wants the first partion chronologicaly (first to exist).

godzero is right: win98 won't co-exist. It will format (erase) your disk and take up the whole of it (and take half a day to do it). Then you'll have to repartition again.

not only that but win 98/98se has problems installing past the 2 gig boot boundary and there is also a 1024 cylinder boundary that gives the installer fits too.....
