Question How can I make ACPI run on my T41???

I've struggled for several days on my newly installed mandriva 2006.

I have to say that it doesn't like muck my black box, a Thinkpad T41.

well, i haven't wished it could support my ibm keys by default as Ubuntu breezy did.

But I cannot even make acpi run in my mdv2006!!!

i did lsmod, it gave me these:
