How can I get rid of kded?

Hello,

The process kded is constantly crashing, restarting, and eating up 33% of my CPU.

How can I get rid of it? With that I mean: Set my system so that kded will never start automaticaly.

thanks,

I could not find a way to get rid of KDED.

Even using GNOME kded will start ....

I got it to quiet down and stop eating my CPU by uninstalling Kat.

I think that somehow Kat was the problem ....

Well .... I can live with locate and find ^_^
