Hi,
I heard like many people use Mozilla in Linux
but it looks not very good when display some webpages(especially some Chinese webpages), and sometimes I can not open some webpages(not pop-up ads).
I tried Galeon, i seems better.
Can anyone tell me the advantage and disadvantage of Galeon comparing with Mozilla?
I like the search boxes in the bookmark toolbar. You can search in google without entering the homepage. I changed some boxes to search in the phone book, buss schedules etc. Otherwise it's much the same. You might want to check out opera if you want something different.

Agreed, this is THE reason I use galeon, I love all those little search boxes at the top.
yeah, those built-in search boxes are really sweet... i use the one in mozilla firefox all the time... it's very convenient...

for the record, i just tested the cpu usage on my firefox 0.8 while surfing multiple sites on multiple tabs and it didn't ever go above 30% on my 850mhz amd duron cpu...

LYNX would be the best one, from that point of view ;-)
Galeon seems tied to GNOME the way Konqueror is tied to KDE. Might use the same engine as Mozilla but it doesn't use the same settings. I can't configure it to use an http proxy without GNOME, for example. Since I prefer KDE, haven't really used it much. I'm using Konqueror right now, actually; it's a lot like IE (which is either a good or bad thing, I suppose.)
