Hostname issues

I have Mandrake 9.2, with fluxbox for WM. Everytime i try to enter a hostname, it won't stick after a reboot. Is there some sort of config file to edit to keep my hostname permanently?

You can use your /etc/rc.local and put this in:
hostname "new name"

That will set it at startup.
