Have just installed md9.1 and am new to os. When I try to set up internet through drakconnect, only lan connection shows. I have tried to deactivate lan but it still shows up. Have conexant modem. Downloaded and installed latest md driver at linuxant com. Any help on getting connected would be appreciated. I am anxious to get up and going.

For all conexant modem, try to use the linuxant drivers http://www.linuxant.com/company/

Please keep in mind that winmodem are mostly unsupported under linux, those internal modem have less hardware features than full boxed modem (but are a lot cheaper, it is true)
