Due to hardaware problems my mandy instalation is all broken. Now i want to save a few files to a floppy disk. I've booted with the 1st cd rom and into rescue mode, i'm at console now, and guess what? i can't even copy those files to a floppy... shame on me!!! maybe i'm doing it the wrong way, i'm planning to format the drive and reinstall but before i can format i did this:

mounted my linux partition (so far accesible)
floppy is already mounted

cp filename.jpg /mnt/floppy --- and --- mv filename.jpg
...nothing happens

i went to /mnt/floppy and the files i already copied are actually there, but they're not 'passing' physically to the floppy disk, weird thing isn't it??, or maybe there's something i'm missing.
