Help, Can't install netatalk package in Mandrake 9.2
I am trying to set up a file server for our small network. We have a mix of macs and windows machine. A few of the macs are older, running OS9. So I need samba and netatalk. Samba is the easy part. However when I goto install the netatalk package, netatalk-1.6.3-4mdk.i586, i get the message "Sorry, the following package(s) can't be selected:
netatalk-1.6.3-4mdk.i586 (due to unsatisfied tcp_wrappers)"
When I goto Mandrake control center>Security>Draksec>system there is an option "Authorize all services controlled by tcp_wrappers. So I assume that it is installed. I have tried changing the setting here then trying to install the package, and still get the same message. I have even tried to install tcp_wrappers from source, just in case it isn't really installed. I had to prove that we could have a linux fileserver before so I did this on a tiny 5 gig drive. Now I am just trying to the the same with a 120gb drive. So I know there is a way. I just don't know what I am doing differently. I am writing down every step I take so that it can be replicated by someone at a later date because the people here aren't very tech savy and when I leave most likely no one will have a clue what to do if something ever happens to the server (ie: someone physically breaks it). So I know I can't be far off. I am just missing something little. I am getting frustrated so any help will be greatly appreciated.
