I haven't tried anything out yet, I'm still a ,but i was looking threw these forums and haven't much luck with this model? There is post in other forums about the broadcom 4318 and people able to get them to work. So any reply would be appreciated.
I have a Dell Inspiron with a Broadcom 4318. I got it working quite quickly with ndiswrapper and the WinXP drivers. Search the Network section with ndiswrapper and you should find some posts to help, and also look here http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/j...iki/Itemid,33/

Could you tell me what windows driver works for you. is it bcmwl5.inf and bcmwl5.sys or bcmwl5a.inf and bcmwl5.sys. I've seen both and i'm not sure which one to use. Also when i tried to use ndiswrappper with the windows driver it said it was missing some firmware file. any more info would be appreciated.... thank you
