hi. i'm new here but not to the linux world. i am running mdk 10.1 official. i was wondering if anyone else had a problem getting phpsysinfo to show temp voltage and fan speed. i installed the lm_sensors and ran sensors-detect. when i type sensors as root i get:

if somone has gotten the sensors to work can they give me a run down how they did it

Run sensors-detect so that you have the proper things added to ur modules file to load at bootup. Then, run xsensors, works a lot better. Awful UI but good program. If only the sensors on my own computer were properly supported! :@

Yes, but what happened when you ran xsensors, not sensors, from the terminal inside gnome/kde?

i just got xsensors and its only showing SDRAM

The the sensors on your hardware are probably not supported properly under Linux.

Is there any specific reason you need to have your temp, etc. shown?

no not really, i was just curious cause its a old machine...
but now i got a new problem that just started after reboot so i'm gonna go try and fix it.
