GNOME hijacked my KDE!
I'm running Mandrake 9.2 (Powerpack edition). When I initially setup my machine I chose the standard desktop install (KDE only). Later I decided to add GNOME to try it out. Now when I bring up KDE, I get my KDE desktop but all the menus and icons are linked to GNOME!
WTF? Please be gentle - I'm a recent Linux convert and very much a :newbie: Justin |
Im the MDK control center, go to the menudrake (should be in kstart>config>other>menudrake as well)
and see whats up. Sometimes GNOME will do that, but they share the same programs anyways, it's just that gnome programs will take a little longer to load in KDE and vice versa. |
