Getting an USB external HDD

hi, i'm thinking to buy an external hard disk to back my system files, since i have a windowsXP/linux dual boot system, i would like to make sure any usb drive i'm getting will work with both OS.

the one i'm interested is 160GB One Touch Personal Storage External USB 2.0 Hard Drive (Mfg. Part No. A01E160), http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...duct_id=172779

will this product work for linux?

I've tried many different no-name USB enclosure brands, and all have worked flawlessly with Mandrake.

They key is to find one that works without requiring any Windows XP drivers.

If no drivers are required in XP then Mandrake should detect and use it.
