Generic kernel


In a previous thread ("¿Why you use Mandrake?"), amosf wrote:

He' was talking about getting his kernel updates from www.kernel.org instead of using Mandrakes or any other Distro's own versions they release, with their own patches, etc.

www.kernel.org is the official site of the kernel's released by Linus Torvalds himself.
