Galaxy Splash Screen

Hi
My Galaxy Splash Screen Version 1.0 KDE 3.2
Has lost the wave file when booting up system.
Tried the audio test.No sound.
All wave files are working in system can play music cds no problem.
Its just a minor problem with splash screen audio but would rather like to hear the wave file play on starting Mandriva
How to regain this audio sound?

Maurice

open KDE control center and look thru the menus for
"system sounds" the first window should show a listing that includes startup and shutdown, just re-set where the files are located..........

Go to System / Configuration / KDE / LookNFeel / SystemNotifications. In the drop down menu at the top select 'KDE System Notifications'. here you can set the start up and shut down sound you want.

Galaxy Splash Screen

Hi Ernie
Thank you for direction to System>Configuration>KDE>LookNfeel> System Notification.
USR/share/Sounds?Kopete_events.org ie KDE_start_1.ogg
No wave fies show in USR/Share/sounds
When I search Home/USR/Share/sounds all the wave files like KDE_startupwave are shown in that directory
Have yet to hear wave file on KDE startup system, Only Splash screen pops up.
What direction now inorder to solve this lost Start up wave file

Maurice
