gaim msn problem ssl support

I just download it the latest version of gaim the 0.71, it doesnt load the msn plugin properly or at all. On the FAQ "
I just upgraded Gaim and the MSN plugin will not load. Why?

You did not compile with SSL support. As of protocol version 9, the MSN protocol requires the use of SSL, which gaim provides by either GnuTls or the combination of NSS and NSPR from the Mozilla project. Install one or both of these and recompile Gaim."
so I guess I need to take it off and recompile with ssl support.
how do I take it off? (Newbie)
and How do I recompile withh ssl support?
Im using Mandrake 9.1
thanks

Try

#make uninstall

from the folder that you compiled from when you installed. (if you installed from the tar.gz download)

Gaim also has RPMs available - you might want to try those instead of compiling.

OK.

go to www.rpmseek.com and search for nss under 'what provides' and download on RPM, then do the same thing for 'what provides' nspr.

Once these RPMs are installed (you'll probably have to fight out the dependancies yourself) recompile gaim. (It will install over the current installation).

That *should* do it
