Frezeeing issue


I changed the theme of the Mandrake Linux (10) to I think it was called metacity or something and ManDrake loads but does load up the GUI I'm stuck with a mouse and blue screen. Can't log in.. (I was abandonned =(....) is there any way I can changed the theme? or goto to command line linux without loading the Mandrake? BTW I'm a big newb.

Check out the rescue mode you have on install CD1 or your boot floppy.

You didn't install the developmental packages? As root, command:
urpmi gcc
An Introduction to the Midnight Commander. You can install it by commanding:
urpmi mc
