Floppy Images
I'm following these instructions:
http://doc.mandrakelinux.com/Mandrak...-bootdisk.html My floppy wasn't empty. Maybe I should reformat it or deformat it first? If so, how? Here's what I did with no affect to the floppy: [root@ user]# dd if=/mnt/cdrom/images/hd_grub.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 333+1 records in 333+1 records out [root@ user]# |
[root@ user]# dd if=/mnt/cdrom/images/hd_grub.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=512
333+1 records in 333+1 records out A normal 1.44M floppy image would say 2880 not 333. Are you sure the hd_grub.img is a bootable floppy image? I've never used that one. |
