Floppy again!
I searched and I do not get it. How do I save a file on a floppy on mandrake 9.2?
I tried chmod om mnt/floppy dev/fd0 and so save as root with cp myfile /dev/fd0 and cp myfile /mnt/floppy. I tried knoppix and haking live! Soon I will install DOS. This is shit and has to be fixed if any normal user should be able to use a floppy. |
I also tried to change the security level in configure -> counfigure your computer and no luck!
Do I have to go inte fstab or something? |

Don't complain. You are the one with root access, therefore if you want, you can fix it. Do I have to go inte fstab or something? That is a good idea. Please provide the line with /dev/fd0 from your /etc/fstab. |
and now I get permission denied as root. It gets worse!

Do I have to install windows?
