Flash Path Adapter
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a "Flash Path" adapter to work with Mandrake 9.2 and if so , how would I go about mounting it, and as what. This is the Floppy disk adapter for a smart media card. Konqueror just looks at it for a minute and then does nothing, Thanks for any suggestions, always appreciate any help.

Believe me, I've tried ... you've probably come across James Radley's Flashpath page if you've googled this subject, but the linux flashpath driver out there does not work.
You're better off buying a USB card reader. I've written about my Acomdata 6-in-1 Multiflash card reader working under Knoppix; that post also references a LinuxQuestions.org thread on the same subject. |
Thanks for the reply, I do have a usb card reader, and it does work well. I just happened across my old flash path that I use to use on windows and was curious to see if any one had ever gotten one to work with Linux. Guess I'll save it for when ever I have to use that "other" system. Thanks for the info.
