Firefox problem

I have a problem with Firefox on MDK10.1.

The mailto command does not work unlike Konqueror that fetches up Kmail on clicking on a mail pointer. Is it a problem or is there some switch?

You can create a preference for "network.protocol-handler.app.mailto" which corresponds to the application you want to run for mailto links.

If it doesn't exist then you just need to add it. Visit about:config, right click, New->String.

If you search for this question on google, there is an answer somewhere. I have used it to setup Thunderbird as the program thats opened when a mailto link is clicked. Unfortunately I have forgotten where I got the hack but I searched for "firefox+mailto+thunderbird" on google.

Thanks very much for that clearly it is a problem.

I found it on 'it' and looks like a lot of work guess I'll
wait until the problem is fixed on an update. I have just loaded 1.0.7 maybe that will work.

Not tried a mailto yet though.
