When I try to run the firefox installation script, I think it's something like firefox-installer-bin, I get the first Welcome screen. But, when I click next, it instantly closes and that's the end of that. It does it from command line or GUI, as root or user. When in command line, I see a short list of errors that I'll post later because I can't remember them. A friend of mine has the exact same distro installed on his Vaio laptop and he had the same problems for a while then it suddenly worked once. Another buddy said it installed perfectly on 10.1CE. Anyone have any ideas?

Without the errors I can't think of anything specific off the top of my head. However, you may find that you are missing some RPM packages that it needs, GTK and Gnome ones. Just a guess, it's a long shot.
