Firefox on Mandrake install problems

I'm really struggling to get Firefox installed on Mandrake 10.0
I've downloaded the file and have it sitting in my documents folder. I've tried following the install instructions on the FF website, but they're not very clear/easy to understand for a Noob. I seriously messed up a previous installation attempt and had to re-install MDK - I don't want to have to go through that again. I'm not very experienced with the Konsole, but seriosly want to learn.

If there's someone out there that'd be willing to walk me through the install procedure step by step, I'd really appreciate it.... A lot.

Thanks in advance.

Open Konqueror (Home icon). Go to where ever you have your firefox archive. It should look like firefox-0.9.1-i686-linux-gtk2+xft.tar.gz. Right-click on it, select Actions, Extract To (or Extract Here...). That should be all there is to it.

It's really easy!
Open a console (System -> Terminals -> Konsole - in KDE)
Do the following:
$ tar -xzvf firefox-0.9.1-i686-linux-gtk2+xft.tar.gz
$ cd firefox-0.9.1-i686-linux-gtk2+xft/
$ ./firefox-installer
from that point the installation process will be the normal. The directory will be asked and so on.
Any more question ask here being more specific and someone will help you.
