Been fiddling with an experimental install of Mandrake to make sure it networks with my Windows machines. Now I've got this sorted, can anyone recommend some file sharing software (E donkey, gnutella etc) and give explicit instructions on installation?

I'm currently working my way through 250 pages of Linux manual and I would like the machine to be working whilst I am!

I believe limewire might have a linux application.
I have used the windows version but have never used the linux version.
I think I read somewhere that they had a linux version

limewire does have a linux version
its also spyware free, while the windows version is not (or so i heard)

i also heard kazaa works with wine

and there are lots of emule versions for linux..just do a search on sf.net or they r prbbly on the top 10 list on the left

Limewire Install:
Go to http://mirrors.link.filefront.com/5
Click download free. Save it in your home directory.
(kde)Right click on the file LimeWireLinux.bin and check Executable
then double click (left click) on the file LimeWireLinux.bin and the installer will launch.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
You're done.
