Fedora Core 3 grub in Mandrake-10.1?
 

hi ppl i want to know is it possible to install FC3's grub bootloader in Mandrake-10.1? if its possible pls let me know of the steps to do it. im having problem with mandrake-10.1 grub bootloader. when ever i install nvidia drivers my screen image is very bad during logout and reboot but when i dual boot with FC3 with it grub bootloader the problem is not there. im not using lilo as grub is my choice.

Do you mean that your screen resolution is lower during shutdown and reboot (i.e. when X is not running) for Mandrake ? If so, why not just edit your grub.conf to fit ?

mandrake control center -> boot -> boot loader

Switch from lilo to grub :)

From this I assume you have a dual boot FC3 - Mandrake system ? If so, which is controlling the boot process (FC3 presumably, if this was what you installed second ?) In this case, you probably just need to set the boot resolution to something higher, eg. append to your kernel boot entry in /boot/grub/menu.lst (or grub.conf) for Mandrake.
