Failure KWifiManager With Mandrive 2007.1 Spring

Hi guys, I'm new here. And new with Linux World. I was a Windows user and a Programmer I'm sorry for the bad English, I am Iraqi Teacher in Computer Field . I'm writing you because i need a help .
I've got a WLAN USB Senao Device and when i scan the wireless networks with KWiFiManager, no networks have been found", but I have a WiFi network .
My Linux Distribution is :Mandriva 2007.1 Spring with KDE3.5
When install and setting all components Mandriva
There is no wireless USB Connection with Senao Device which has libs file ( ar5523.bin )and (ar5523.sys) with Windows XP Platform fine work.But with Linux Platform failure to work .and I’m using Kwifimanager tool to detected this device but failed to detected
Would you please help me >

See if you can set up Wifi in MCC (Configure your Computer in the menu system). If that fails (and you have a wired Internet connection) you may be best serves to get and install Mandriva 2009.0 (the current release) because it will provide up to date Wifi chipset support. More importantly, Mandriva Linux (Spring - aka 2007.1) has reached its end of life October 13, 2008 so security updates and bug fixes are no longer being developed for that release.

Sorry! I have not updated my profile for too long a time now. I will do so today. I currently use Mandriva 2009.0 on an AMD Athlon x86_64 powered system with 2GB RAM, GeForce 7300 GT with 256MB Video RAM, and 120 GB IDE HDD (I did an upgrade last fall).

I do not know much about Ubuntu because I have used Mandriva (Mandrake) since I started using Linux around the end of 1998. It is a Debian derivative with an excellent user community. From what I have been able to gather experimenting with it in a VM the only thing it really lacks is the GUI System Administration utilities that accompany Mandriva. I do not like the limited choices available in the Ubuntu Installation Software (I was unable to set my /home directory up on its own partition during installation), and the file system does not make sense to me (most likely because I am familiar with the Mandriva arrangement), but these last two are personal preferences (not Ubuntu shortcomings).

Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck,

They take PayPal too but your bank may charge a foreign transaction fee. I recently had mine do that with a purchase from Canada even, despite being a NAFTA country. Apparently free trade doesn't apply to me. :mad:
