Evolution: bad file descriptor

Hi,

I am trying to set up Evolution to read my e-mail. I got the account all set up, but when I click "send/receive" i get this error:

Error while 'Fetching Mail':
Could not connect to POP server mail.buckeye-express.com (port 110): Bad file descriptor

This appears immediately after clicking the button, like it's not even getting out on the net. Does anybody know what this means?

Thanks,
Mike

Okay, I tried adding a different mail account and it works. I still get the bad file descriptor error when I add the trouble account and try to send/receive. I've re-entered the settings for the account about 10 times in case I made a typo, to no avail. Has anybody else seen this before? I'm baffled!

I also have buckeye-express and have the same exact problem. If you find out the answer let me know at janteau@buckeye-express.com
