Ethernet Card wrong IRQ

Dear All.

I dual booted my computer with Slackware and Mandrake.
The problem, network was working on Slackware but not in mandrake.

I checked it on Slackware with ifconfig,
the eth0 has int=11 and base addr=6000H.

I checked it on Mandrake with ifconfig,
the eth0 has int=17 and base addr=0x8000.

I tried linuxconf to change the irq and I/O addr, reboot,
but there was no effect.
To add my confusion, the the /etc/modules.conf is right.
------
alias eth0 8139too
options 8139too irq=11
------

Please help.

Thanks.

ps:
I'm not a newbie on Slackware, since I've been playing
with it for 5 years.
However, yesterday was my first contact with Mandrake.
