ES1371 sound driver in wich rpm?


hello.

I have some problem with my sound card in mandrake 9.1 . so i would like to reinstall my sound drivers. But i can't find wich package it is and also i cant find the drivers on the web.

Anyone have an idea of wich package i have to reinstall?

My sound card is a Sound Blaster 128 PCI. And the driver is es1371

funny you should ask I'm having the same troubles...please read here....

My card is the sound blaster pci64d, but it uses the same drivers as the 128. Mandrake says it sees it, and has installed the correct driver, but I don't have any sound either....
We both need to keep our eyes on both threads to find out what the problem is....Good luck to you and please post what you did if you get it working Sound is the only thing that keeps me from commpletely dumping win98.

hi

But mys problem is not exactly the same : i have sounds in somes apps and no sound in others.

In Kde i have sound in part of the apps (tux works but the launching sound doesnt)

And in Gnome and icewn no prob....
