error when making bootdisk

I'm trying to make a bootdisk, I'm using Mandrake 9.2, kernel version 2.4.22-10mdk. I typed the following command:

mkbootdsk --device /dev/fd0 2.4.22-10mdk
and I got an error message saying that there was an error in copying /tmp/mkbootdsk/initrd.img, no space left on the device. It then proceeded to copy some other necessary files onto my floppy. How do I get everything onto the floppy?

If you are using Lilo, you could also make a rescue CD.In a terminal (su) just run mkrescue --iso,and this will create a iso image on your hd.You can then use Xcdroast,or similiar to burn your rescue CD.
