error installing packages
 

I have been using Mandrake since 6.0, downloaded 10 from bittorrent, twice downloaded cd1, burned it & when I booted up, it only ran for 8 minutes, the started giving error installing packages over & over

Asked for the http mirror, downloaded & burnt it again, first time it just stopped @ minute 8 left, rebooted & same message - did crtl-alt-bksp - said it couldnot load a font file, started again, got the above message on:
Mandrake-theme-0.2.5-1mdk
libORBIT2_0-2.8.3-1mdk
+ at least 6 more befor I stopped

I am becomming very frustrated with this, Mandrake 6.0, 6.1, 7.0, 7.1, 8.0, 8.1, & 9.0 did not give me any trouble - this is a bit much - any suggestions

I'm having same problem with Mandrake 9.2 installer. Did you ever fix the problem?

Also, did you format your windows partition first before installing Mandrake? I didn't.

Please let me know if you found a solution. The errors seem to be on arbitrary packages and changes every time I run the installer.
