Enable Vim GUI
I have read some of the articles on vim. I noticed that we can changed it to GUI version which is more nicer look than the black screen. SO, i type vim -gvim -r. After the konsole come out an error message which is E25: GUI cannot be used: Not enabled at compile time.

I don't know what wrong with it.

Therefore, i need your help in order for me to switch to a nicer GUI looks.

You probably have a gvim package that you can install and save yourself a lot of work.

On Mandriva, you need to install the vim-X11 package. It should be available on your installation discs or online repositories, so you can install it using the software installation tool in the Mandriva Control Center.
