DVD writing in mandrake
 

hi :) the newb here ^^
i've only recently started using mandrake, can anyone recommend good dvd-/+rw programs to use? (mostly dvd-r though) what program do you think is good? what do you use?

I use k3b which is pretty much decent. Haven't tried burning dvd's yet but there should be no problems (try with a dvd-rw first :)) I'd LOVE to have Nero for linux.

k3b 10.0 or newer, google "k3b mandrake rpm"you will get the site. Then remove your k3b first, then install 11.0 rpm. Works like a charm on + and - rw....

There's a program called DVDrip on the linux format magazine DVD...has anyone tried that yet....trying to get some feedback before installing....i already have K3b ...

I have the 8 and I cant burn DVDs with my pionneer dvd

I tried + - RW or R
nothing

I can burn normal cd s though .
