Dual Monitors and Mandriva

Okay, another question for you guys. Understand that I'm a newbie and while it's been really fun learning this stuff, most of it is still way over my head.

I tried to install Mandriva 2006 on my personal computer. I have dual monitors and the card in my machine is an nVidia 5200.

When I try to boot into linux with graphics, I get garbage on the right screen and nothing on the left. Computer seems to still be running but not much else. When I boot into console, no problem. Works like a charm, for what little I can do on it.

I did try (and obviously failed) to configure the card to work during the installation itself.

Okay, I got one monitor working just fine. *beats head against wall* with the latest drivers and kernel-source. Now, how to convince it that I have two minitor and not one?

Any ideas? Please?

*offers cookies* Thank you in advance.

You might want to use my /etc/xorg.conf, posted below, as a guide. It is not the only way to do it, but it works fine for me. (Make sure you back up your file first.)
