drivers fo accorp 56K modem
i have Mandrake 10.1 and can't find drivers for Accorp 56K modem! please help!

figure out what the chipset it. you can list the devices with cat /proc/pci under a prompt, probably, to get some info. then look at www.linmodems.org, and see if you can find something.

i don't believe you, but if it's not a winmodem, you don't need drivers. you just need to know what serial port it is on, and what irq it is using. if you have windows on the machine, see what settings it is using for the modem. com1-com4 in windows = ttyS0-ttyS3 in linux. you will likely have to use a setserial command for the ttyS? device to have the port use the right irq. post back what info you can find about what resources your modem is using.
