drakconf.real and harddrake2 report bad entries in syslog

Mandriva 2009.1, Gnome desktop. I too had issues as others have reported with the network upgrade. Half way through it just stopped and I ended up downloading and burning the 'dual' iso and installing from that. Since then I've been seeing this in my syslog after I've brought up the configuration:

May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host0
May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host1
May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target0:0:0
May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target0:0:1
May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target1:0:0
May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target1:0:1
May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host2
May 8 17:24:51 localhost drakconf.real[27778]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host3

May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host0
May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host1
May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target0:0:0
May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target0:0:1
May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target1:0:0
May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: target1:0:1
May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host2
May 8 17:25:27 localhost harddrake2[27918]: bad entry in /sys/bus/scsi/devices: host3

I haven't the faintest idea what the cause but I'd like to know what is causing it.

Anyone able to assist?

Thanks
Chris
